Workshop Overview

Take your school’s fundraising program from non-existent to thriving by giving it the foundation and attention it needs. Learn the basics of generating an advancement program, from fundraising 101 to establishing an alumni relations program.

Topics include: Exploring your assets discern whether your school has the right tools to move forward with a comprehensive fundraising program and how to use key tools to build your advancement foundation;  Forming your message: explore and discern what the key messages are for your institution that would generate a distinct emotional connection for parents, alumni, and friends of the school; Setting goals: take away key questions to engage with your board and school leadership that will help establish reasonable goals for your program or project.

Ann Snyder is the Director of Independent and International Schools with Counci for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), a global organisation dedicated to transforming lives and society through education. With more than a decade of experience in student and family marketing, school management enrollment, fundraising, and external affairs, Ann is a seasoned school leader who recently made the transition to CASE so she could serve schools more widely.
