Mitch Green currently serves as the Director of Learning Support at Academia Cotopaxi, an American International School in Quito, Ecuador. Mitch spent the majority of his career in the metropolitan Atlanta, GA area, serving most recently as the Principal of Henderson Mill Elementary School, the first STEAM Certified School in the State of Georgia. He began his career in education 24 years ago teaching special education at an alternative high school in New Jersey and has since taught both general and special education and served in leadership roles at the elementary and middle school levels. Mitch and his family took the plunge into international education, heading abroad in August of 2018.
