Moving Forward: AMISA’s new Global Citizen Grant and Recognition Program

Written by Dereck Rhoads, Executive Director, AMISA

AMISA has a long tradition of supporting Global Citizenship.  Through professional development, impactful learning opportunities, and collaborative networking, we have continued to support globally minded students and educators.

The AMISA Board has engaged in strategic work over the past several years to ensure that AMISA is taking steps to expand our Global Citizenship efforts.  As a result, we are very excited to announce the new AMISA Global Citizen Grant and Recognition Program.

In this exciting new program, AMISA Member Schools will be able to receive recognition and/or grant support to assist in sustaining and advancing the work they are doing.  The new program will increase the financial resources available to our schools to support student Global Citizenship efforts.  In addition, the program is designed to expand the recognition of Global Citizenship as well.

Along with the program’s generous sponsor, TieCare, AMISA is pleased to share the newly revamped program that will not only recognize more recipients but also increase the financial support available to each school-based program.   AMISA is pleased to announce this new chapter in our efforts to celebrate and amplify Global Citizenship in our member schools.
