ISM Academy Quito
In December 2015, ISM Academy Quito celebrated Christmas by demonstrating love and remembrance for Jesus Christ in its true dimension. We joined dance, music and theater to commemorate the coming of the Savior to the world. In essence, our purpose was to emphasize and reinforce the values of love and generosity, an act that is expressed in the Holy Scriptures as:
“It is more blessed to give than to receive” Acts 20:35
We gathered with underprivileged children from various charitable organizations in the city. During this time, we shared a beautiful time where attention, care and tenderness overflowed to fulfill a meaningful purpose.
Most importantly, we shared a time of friendship, solidarity and playful interaction whereby our students had the opportunity to be grateful to the Lord for all the blessings in life that he has granted us. This experience was marvelous and immensely gratifying for everyone present, as they could empathize with people from deprived backgrounds, such as homeless people, single mothers and orphans.
The beneficiaries were extremely happy since they received not only gifts, but also genuine smiles and pure feelings of kindness, sympathy and benevolence from our children
