The Appointment of a Deputy Director at AASSA
The updated Strategic Plan through 2020 has as one of its key action items the appointment of a second educator to serve as AASSA’s Deputy Director. I am pleased to announce that Paul Sicard has been selected to serve in this role starting August 1, 2015.
Paul has a 17-year track record in international schools, and currently is the Elementary Principal at Escuela Campo Alegre in Caracas. Previously, Paul has worked as a principal in Malaysia and at two schools in the Philippines where his experience includes being a secondary principal and Director of Information Technology; he also worked as a Director in Libreville, Gabon (West Africa). Prior to going overseas, Paul worked in Florida initially as a teacher, counselor and Assistant Elementary Principal, and seven of those years in Broward County where the AASSA office is located.
The addition of another professional educator will allow AASSA to further develop its offerings to our region and its member schools in line with our Strategic Plan2020.
